Non-Solicitation Policy

Non-Solicitation Policy

The Northeastern University Center for Family Business is a membership organization that provides education, networking opportunities, and support to family businesses. A guiding principle for Center activities is open communications and trust.

While mutually beneficial business relationships are encouraged, overt solicitation is inconsistent with the mission of the Northeastern University Center for Family Business Program.

Solicitation of Center members to buy products services ideas, or causes, however worthy or potentially of value to the solicited member disrupts the atmosphere of confidentiality and trust.

For that reason, members and program participants agree that open marketing and solicitation to members is prohibited. Violation of the policy can result in expulsion from the Center.

Center members, guest, and other associated with the Center agree to not openly market to or solicit Center members.
